Warren Budokan presents the Southeast Asian Martial Art, Albo Kali Silat. This rarely seen art encompasses stick, knife, and empty hand techniques and was featured in the February 2009 issue of Black Belt Magazine.
Tuhan Jon Holloway, head of Albo Kali Silat, will be instructing this seminar, which will focus on martial concepts which can be applied to real world situations.
Topics to be covered include: basic striking angles; intercepting, deflecting, striking, passing, and/or trapping an opponents attack, basic blade concepts; and disrupting the balance of an opponent.

The seminar is limited to 25 students. A single baston (rattan stick) is provided for the student in the training.

Warren Budokan presents a law enforcement training seminar featuring concepts from the Southeast Asian Martial Art, Albo Kali Silat. This rarely seen art encompasses impact weapon, knife, and empty hand techniques and was featured in the February 2009 issue of Black Belt Magazine..
Jon Holloway, head of Albo Kali Silat, is a law enforcement officer with 17 years of experience. Holloway has been a municipal police officer, firearms instructor, instructor in officer survival, detective, sergeant, federal Special Agent, federal SWAT operator, and currently is a Supervisory Special Agent for a federal law enforcement agency. He holds the rank of Tuhan, or Master Instructor, in Albo Kali Silat.
Topics to be covered by Tuhan Holloway in this seminar include: use of force continuum; countering common empty handed attacks; basic knife attacks and realistic defenses; impact weapon/baton, blade, and firearm retention and disarming; and not merely surviving but dominating a weapon based street attack.
